My project included adding a deck with a grill corner, tall flower beds, walkways, and lighting.
There were some challenges: leveling and moving the dirt, temporarily moving out the plants, fixing retaining wall, and the biggest problem was fine (dune) sand type of soil.
A combination of concrete blocks, on re-bars, and concrete pouring was used to solve the problem. The resulting flower beds were further decorated with tiles and filled with soil and rock mulching.
In the area adjacent to the house I have installed zero-maintenance Trex composite deck, framing the grill corner with tile.
